Want a Super Fast Website? LiteSpeed is the Future…
User eXperience (or UX) is one of the key starting points to optimising your website for Google. If your user goes to your website and finds what they want, then your website has done it’s job.
But doing it’s job isn’t always enough – especially in today’s competitive market. Your website needs to do better than just “it’s job”… It needs to exceed expectations and deliver your website quickly and efficiently. You need a super fast website…

How do I get a super fast website?
One of the biggest changes you can make to your website is the speed of how your website delivers it’s content to a user. This becomes more important as your website gains in popularity…

When you have over 25 users on your website at one go, how does your website manage with the extra load? Does the website slow down? Do the images take longer to load?
In a recent test for a client we decided to see how their website was performing if there was a sudden influx of clients. The above graph shows how this image heavy website performed when there were multiple ‘loads’ on the website at one time.
As you can see over a 5 minute test period the website performed okay… the more traffic that visited the website over the 5 minute period the slower the response time became with a maximum website average server response time of 2.57 seconds.
However we felt that this wasn’t quick enough.
How can I make my website faster?
All MB Web websites are hosted on a ‘LiteSpeed‘ server. This LiteSpeed technology allows us to configure the website in such a way that your website speed is increased. Find out more about website hosting.
Can the software you run on your server make that much of a difference? Yes, it can.
Our lightweight server conserves resources without sacrificing performance, security, compatibility, or convenience. The Litespeed server offers double the maximum capacity of an Apache server. The event-driven architecture is capable of handling thousands of concurrent clients with minimal memory consumption and CPU usage. This all helps you get a super fast website.
In addition to performance enhancements the Litespeed server offers increased protection while also taking advantage of a host of built-in anti-DDoS features, such as bandwidth and connection throttling.
That sounds great, but give me proof…
The graph below shows the exact same speed test completed after the Litespeed server has been installed and the caching optimised.
Over the same 5 minute test period the maximum website average server response time of 0.12 seconds.
